The Chef Soup Experiment

12:30pm: soup is served

 Suggested Donation $5

What happens when you ask more than 50 of Vancouver’s top chefs to each bring one ingredient and toss it into a boiling pot?  Good question – we’re going to find out!

On January 20, more than 50 participating chefs will supply an ingredient to add to the soup collective.  Over the next couple of hours, student chefs from the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts will chop, season, stir and cook the ingredients to perfection, then serve samples to the public. Soup will be provided at a suggested donation, and 100% of the proceeds will go to help kids access nutritious food and lifelong knowledge about how to eat well and be healthy through United Way’s Stop the Growl initiative.

Join United Way on-site from 12:30pm onward to snag your own portion of this once-in-a-year brew.  Everyone is welcome – but get there early, since the kitchen shuts down when the soup runs out. Don’t miss out!

Together, we can make sure kids thrive. Donate today.
